The Gambia Institute of Chartered Accountants was established by an act of parliament (Financial Reporting Act 2013) to strengthen the Accountancy Profession in the Gambia.
This landmark Act sponsored by the World Bank through the Report on the Observance of Standards and Codes (ROSC) is a significant milestone in the development of the accountancy profession in The Gambia.
